I’m Erik Hastings and it’s time to play ‘Where Are We?’ I’ll give you some hints. We are in the United States.
This place has four distinct seasons. And it has three hundred miles of shoreline. And according to this family, it just might be the most beautiful place they’ve ever been. Give up? We’re in Door County, Wisconsin. I have a map. Well, look at that. How nice. Let’s explore the Door, people. Visitors have been dazzled by Door County’s year round pristine scenery, five state parks, thirty beaches, ten lighthouses, and countless activities, from hands-on to the arts. In order to explore, you’ve got options.
There’s hiking, biking, horseback riding, even sailing. In the fall, it’s a cornucopia of colours in these parts. Door County is the perfect place to see the changing of the leaves. Did you know, Door County has one of the largest concentrations of lighthouses in the United States? It’s true. And, as long as it’s not winter, you can go inside three of them. No matter what season, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy. You’ve got kayaking, golfing, and apple and cherry picking. And, be sure to explore the quaint villages.
