If a family vacation is on your family’s agenda for this summer, you want to think about safety.
There are a couple of things to think about, particularly for a world trip. Get your car checked out well in advance, have a really good emergency kit in your car and make sure you take along plenty of water and snacks for your entire family. If you are going to take a road trip and rent a car, you are going to want to think about what kind of company you want o go with. Try to pick somebody whose name you recognize and who you feel like you can rely on.
This summer, for example, AVIS has a great program called the Summer Safe Family Travel program. Great tips for parents, great tips on passenger-safety and car safety and for kids they have a great program or they have a coupon for a free bike helmet as well as other tips, stickers which flutter from the bike, in other words the children learn how to be safe on the road. Now, when it comes to your money you really want to think about safety there too. One way to do that is to think about what you want to have in your wallet.
