Italy Safety Tips for Kids
Chao, my name is Silvia Tosolini and today I’m going to share with you some safety tips that you can use in your next trip in Italy with your kids.
If you visit a crowded place like Venice, it might happen that your kid might get lost. So I suggest that you write your phone number and kid’s name on his hands. Not all Italians speak English, so it may be useful if your kids learn some basic Italian emergency sentences. Here is how you can identify yourself- “Il mio nome e’ Silvia.” “That means, “My name is Silvia.”
“Again, “Il mio nome e’ Silvia.”
To tell somebody that you are lost, you say - “Mi sono persa”, again “Mi sono persa”. A boy would say - “Mi sono perso”, again “Mi sono perso”.
You can ask somebody to help you call your emergency number by saying, “Per favore chiamate qui.” That means “please call here”, again “Per favore chiamate qui.”
I hope you found these tips useful. Enjoy Italy. It’s a beautiful country. Ciao from Silvia.
