“Sultanate of Oman which we call Jewel of Arabia is only been open to tourism since 1996, its situated right in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula and it probably offers the most unique and exotic Arabian - total Arabian experience for travelers who are considering traveling around the world or on the way to Europe and U.K.The first point of entry is of course Muscat city. Oman is situated over 7 to 800 kilometer of pristine coastal line. Muscat city is nestled on a beautiful bay you have the Sultan’s palace and has a fantastic range of hotels - all five, four star, catering for everybody’s budget. The newest one is of course the 1.3 billion dollar - Al Jissah La’s Barr Shangri-La property consisting of 6 star, 5 star and 4 star property. 865 rooms, 3 magnificent pools, the new CHI spa, choice of 21 restaurants, a total destination - fantastic conferencing- meetings facility. Trips -ah- well logically everybody does a trip to Nisrul the old capital city and there you have a chance to go and buy the frankincense and mirh, the handicrafts.
